Classic Woodwork Limited was launched in 1986 when Chris Hewitt opened a small shop on Park Avenue in Mount Pearl. His motto – provide a superior product at a reasonable, affordable price. We have lived by that motto for 30 years.
High quality products created a loyal and expanding client base, and our team and space steadily grew. Chris’ son, Josh, began working in the shop as a teenager and 20 years later continues to work alongside his father in the role of vice president. Today, the family run business employs between 25 to 30 people, and is located in a workshop space of more than 18,000 square feet in St. Anne’s Industrial Park in Paradise, NL.
At Classic Woodwork, we employ traditional crafts persons and have invested heavily in our manufacturing facilities with the latest CNC technology and state of the art equipment to ensure we manufacture precision made millwork, exactly to your specifications. We recycle all our wood waste into environmentally friendly fire bricks and our finishing products are 100% water based.
